The world is out of balance, and really, we all know that. It is unbalanced in favor of the masculine, and the redemption of the feminine, away from its denial, is necessary for the well being of all civilization. In terms of politics, it is as though our government is run by a group of old-fashioned father figures who rarely spend time at home, but then come into the house and start giving orders.
The masculine is frustrated by its inability to live in harmony with a well-developed and therefore well-matched feminine counterpart and so continues to lead with a spoiled and immature sword arm much in need of feminine temperance.
This male tendency toward anger and aggression is only a temporary motivator of the lower human energies and does not work, as has been proven. We are in need of new dynamics, new perspectives, and truly, a new and redeemed world. We need A Politics of Love, friends, as Ms. Marianne Williamson, who is running for President, says. We need a love that calls up the divine within us and we must wage peace with as much intention, seriousness, and effort as those who have waged war with the same; for hatred does not end hatred and the only way out of the darkness is through the light.
This will require a putting away of the American cult of pleasure as our artificial appetite for sensationalism and titillation has replaced our demand for truth and peace and right government. Our obsessive pursuit of entertainment and cheap amusement is both a response to, and a masking of, deep unhappiness (which is actually here for a reason). Depression, displacement, despondency, and negative coping are all telling us something: they are signs that who we are and what we have been doing, are inadequate for the energies trying to emerge within us. There is a New World being birthed: not one of immoderate ambition, nor of things too shallow to satisfy, but a true and beautiful and noble one. But we must WAKE UP, and tune in and not out, and recognize that the "other" has something worth learning and genuine reconciliation and synergistic dialogue and just PEACE are the key, and truly, this is the purview of WOMEN.
